ProClin(TM) 300 is a biocide that is considered as a greener alternative to more toxic NaN3. It gives better protection than NaN3 and thus this product aligns with "Design for Safer chemicals". Click here for more information., ProClin(TM) preservatives are water-soluble preparations of biocides that are generally used to increase the shelf life of reagents. ProClin(TM) 300 comprises of 3% of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazloin-3-one (MIT) in a salt-free proprietary glycol containing an alkly carboxylate stabilizer. It has a recommended working pH range as 2.5 - 8.5.
