When the reagents of the MQuant(R) test are used up, the kit can be replenished by ordering the appropriate refill pack. Refill packs are available for a range of MQuant(R) test kits, making it a particularly economical and ecological system.MethodIn sulfuric solution silicate ions react with molybdate ions to form a yellow heteropoly acid. This is reduced to silicomolybdenum blue. The silicate concentration is measured semiquantitatively by visual colorimetric evaluation.
