Taq DNA Polymerase, GMP Grade, gives high lot-to-lot consistency. Recombinant Taq DNA Polymerase (from Thermus aquaticus, recombinant E. coli), GMP Grade, is a highly processive 5'-3' DNA polymerase that lacks 3'-5' exonuclease activity. The thermostable enzyme is a single polypeptide chain with a molecular weight of approximately 95 kD. Taq DNA Polymerase also accepts modified deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates for highly efficient DNA labeling with radionucleotides, digoxigenin, fluorescein, or biotin.
