In addition, TSKgel Amide-80, 2 mum columns more highly retain hydrophilic compounds than competitive amide columns on the market.Packed with 2, 3, 5, or 10 mum spherical silica particles that are covalently bonded with carbamoyl groups, TSKgel Amide-80 columns are used for the analysis of saccharides, glycans, oligosaccharides, peptides and polar compounds from natural products. The amide stationary phase provides a unique selectivity under regular normal phase conditions or in the hydrophilic interaction mode of chromatography.TSKgel Amide-80 HR, 5 mum columns offer higher specifications for plate count compared to traditional TSKgel Amide-80, 5 mum, 4.6 mm ID x 25 cm columns (N = > 18,000 vs. 8,000). This equates to more efficient chromatography.
