Universal Beer Agar

Descrição detalhada : Universal Beer Agar is a base medium supplemented with beer. Its characteristics are closer to natural environmental conditions found in a typical brewery. Thus, it supports the growth of more lactic acid bacteria and yields larger colonies in a shorter time than other brewer's media. The addition of beer gives the medium some selectivity to the organisms adapted to existing conditions in the brewery. Hop and alcohol inhibit the growth of many other microorganisms, which are not adapted to the beer matrix.
