Download your certificate at: http://www.sigma-aldrich.com Zoxamide is a benzamide fungicide applied to crops to control damage caused by oomycete pathogens and ascomycete fungi. It is used as veterinary pharmaceuticals in aquaculture and for the control of various fungal infections including blight in potatoes and tomatoes. As per Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, repealing the directive 91/414/ECC, zoxamide is approved for use in the European Union (EU). A maximum residue limit (MRL) of 0.02 mg/kg is applicable for the presence of zoxamide in fresh/frozen fruits, and tree nuts, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/171.
