Dapsone

Descrição detalhada : Dapsone is an antibacterial drug, belongs to a class of compounds known as sulfones. It acts by inhibiting the synthesis of dihydrofolic acid through competition with para-aminobenzoate for the active site of dihydropteroate synthetase, thereby inhibiting the growth of microorganisms that are dependent on endogenous folic acid synthesis.
