Sold under trade names such as Phenergan(R) and Phenadoz(R), promethazine has antihistamine, sedative, and mild antipsychotic effects. This Certified Spiking Solution(R) is suitable for GC/MS or LC/MS methods in promethazine testing applications including clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, and urine drug testing. Among drug abusers, promethazine has reportedly been misused in conjunction with opioids, benzodiazepines, and sedatives.
