Poly(ethylene glycol)ylated polyester nanocapsules of perfluorooctyl bromide were surface-decorated with a RGD (arginine-glycine-aspartic acid) peptide, were used for tumor imaging. Nanocapsules of perfluorooctyl bromide have been developed as dual contrast agent for ultrasonography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
