Carbendazim

Descrição detalhada : Carbendazim is a systemic broad-spectrum fungicide, used worldwide against various fungal diseases of agricultural products. It is reported to pose deleterious effects on the human placental trophoblast cells. Dissipation pattern and risk assessment of carbendazim and mancozeb in mango fruits has been reported. The influence of carbendazim (methyl 2-benzimidazole carbamate) on the testis, efferent ductules and sperm of adult rat has been determined. Fast and sensitive method of determination of carbendazim (methyl benzimidazole-2-ylcarbamate, MBC) in water and soil samples has been developed by using dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) coupled with HPLC with fluorescence detection. Reaction kinetics of the transformation of the fungicide carbendazim induced by hydroxyl radical generated by the UV photolysis of H2O2 has been studied.
