These synthetic cathinones offer recreational uses that mimic the effects of illegal drugs such as cocaine, methamphetamine, and LSD. Abuse of 4-fluoromethcathinone, also called flephedrone or 4-FMC, has been observed throughout the US from Louisiana, Texas, and Florida to New Jersey, Illinois, and Kansas.
