This is in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and repealing Council Directives 79/117/EEC and 91/414/EEC. But a default maximum residue limit (MRL) of 0.02 mg/kg and 0.05 mg/kg is set for the presence of aldicarb in fresh/frozen fruits and tree nuts respectively as per Reg. (EU) No 310/2011.
