Pentylone, developed in the 1960s, is a synthetic cathinone sold in bath salt blends such as "NRG-1" with other synthetic cathinones including flephedrone, MDPBP, MDPV, and MPPP. Pentylone has also been found in a separate blend with MPPP called "NRG-3."
